2. General principles
We process personal data only where necessary to operate the platform, provide accounts and community profiles, handle security functions, communication, payments or legal duties.
The legal bases include Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual services, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for legitimate interests in secure and stable operation, and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR for legal obligations.
3. Access data, server logs and hosting
When you access the website, technical access data may be processed, such as IP address, time of access, browser and device information, requested pages, referrer and server status codes. This data is needed to deliver the website, analyze errors, prevent abuse and ensure security.
Hosting is provided by Hetzner Online GmbH. Where required, data processing agreements are concluded with service providers.
4. Accounts and login
For registration and account use we process data such as username, email address, password hash, login status, account type, subscription status, connected login providers and technical security data. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
If you sign in through Discord or Steam, the respective provider also processes personal data. The transmitted data depends on your provider account and the permissions you grant.
5. Community profiles and public content
Community owners can publish profiles with names, descriptions, tags, server data, links, images, logos, highlights, mods, rates and other profile information. Publicly saved content may be visible to visitors and indexed by search engines.
Please do not publish personal data of third parties unless you have the necessary permission.
6. Votes, likes, profile views and analytics
When you like, vote for or visit communities, we may store these actions to provide favorites, counters, abuse protection, statistics and dashboard views. This may include account ID, community profile ID, game slug, timestamps and technical data.
We also process platform analytics in a privacy-conscious way to improve the service, detect abuse and understand which areas are used.
7. Contact form and captcha
If you contact us, we process your name, email address, selected topic, message, time of request and technical security data. We use Altcha to make automated spam submissions harder.
8. Payments, Premium and advertising
For Premium upgrades and advertising bookings we process order information, price, duration, booked features, payment status, PayPal references and related account or community profile data. We do not store complete payment credentials.
Tax and commercial records may be stored for the legally required retention periods.
9. Cookies, sessions and external media
We use technically required cookies and local/session storage for login, security checks, CSRF protection, theme settings and checkout flows. Optional external media, such as YouTube videos, are loaded only after your consent.

10. Your rights
Depending on the legal requirements, you may have rights to access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.
